Fund Raising
Usually every season some of the Team Moms decide on a team article like a hat or a jacket that you can buy at a reasonable cost. On each item, the program will make a few dollars that will be used for the team picnic and other things. If you would like to help out with this effort or have any good ideas for team items, please let us know.
We may also decide to pursue other fund raising opportunities during the season and will ask for your participation.
Community Service
Every year we participate in the "Clean Communities" program, in which Bridgewater Township assigns us an area where we need to pick up liter. We all go together for about an hour or so and sweep the assigned area for trash. In the past, the town would send us a check to be used for equipment or other expenses. Unfortunately this program has not been funded this year, so we will not generate any money for the program. We still believe, however, that this is a good way for us to help teach the kids to take some pride in how we treat the town we live in, so we plan to volunteer again this spring. The date for the clean-up will be announced later in the season.
