THE MICHAEL BRUCE FUND
MISSION STATEMENT

To provide financial assistance throughout the lifetime of any member of the student body of Bridgewater-Raritan High School, who has suffered extensive injuries in an automobile accident while attending Bridgewater-Raritan High School and as a result of that accident, is determined to be non-ambulatory, left unable to care for themselves and requiring extensive long term medical and rehabilitative care while maintaining the encouragement to return to a useful, productive and self-sustaining life.

Why the Fund Was Created?

The fund was created when Michael Alan Bruce was left a quadriplegic after a car accident in November, 1988. Michael passed away on March 13, 2000 after 12 years of mental toughness, his body yielded but his mind never stopped trying, we will miss him
